Bill clinton on Charlierose tonight

he is everywhere talking about his new book these days.
actually the first show he did after the book was published was yesterday's Operah. it was a bit supprising to me. but I guess bill clinton was that kind of politicians both women and men want to talk about, or talk to.
also, since I'm getting up late these days, I have the chance to watch "the view" at 10am on abc7. it is like bunch of housewife talking about politics and entertainment gossips. it was amusing to see how these hostesses were fond of talking about bill clinton and hilary clinton in recent shows.

haha, both of them are on sale.
I like Charlie rose's interview much better than the preview part of Operah. the former talked about foreign policy and idea of being usa president, the later concentrated on relationship, basicly cheating. the former president of united states received adequate respect, to his experience, intelligence and personality, in CR show. yet in operah show, you would just feel like: oops, the poor guy had to go through all of it again just for selling a few more copies of his book.
however, most people thought operah's interview was "sharp" and "straightforward". I don't understand why... probably for attracting more housewife audience.
did you buy the books? I won't bother spending money on them... I'll take a look at the pictures when I'm in Boston:D
how do you like Ruth? it's not necessary that she was a sensitive kid. but she is definitely a sensitive woman so that in her reflection, her childhood also became self-revealing and far-reaching... that's the trick of all kinds of biography :P
yeah, I agree with you. I was really a little bit cynic about Ruth. she definitely had something special in her even when she was a kid. you remember Zhang ailing could taste the medicine in chicken? at that age and even now, I'm pretty dumb in that. I can barely tell from burned-unburned and rotten-unrotten food...:P
it's a secret... but actually my earthy career dream from childhood has been zuo jia -- a housewife sitting at home, reading/writing whatever she likes :D my mom said it was the thinking of a lazybone who doesn't want to work hard to make a living.
